I have had a flock of chickens for years and already had ceramic eggs in the nest boxes, but mine were old and chipped and fairly nasty looking…lol! So I bought 6 of these and they are great! Good size. With these I now can keep 2 in each box. I have 6 nest boxes. Well worth the small price and much cheaper than my original ones were that I bought from a hatchery.
I had bought a new set of nesting boxes last year and was having trouble getting the hens to use them but they seem to like the newer eggs. Lol…must be a girl thing! Now every one is using the boxes with the new eggs in it. I may have to get another 6 to get them to use all the boxes.
Lol…yes…my girls are spoiled! They get treats in the morning and again in the afternoon, and free range time in the afternoon… but at least they lay in the winter. By the way, Premier 1 also sells a very good heated poultry waterer…at a very nice price.

It is amazing these came without a scratch or crack, with the way many of my packages arrive at my doorstep. Thank you for getting them to me safely wrapped. I have Buff Orpington chickens, and these ceramic eggs were the exact color of the eggs they produce, they are so real looking you definitely have to mark them when you use them so you know which ones are the real eggs!
