Product Details
Use this 11" (suspends conductors 9" from the post) offset insulator for attaching conductors on wood line posts.

Installation
- Use a hammer to pound insulator into post. (Refer to photo above to see how insulator should be in relationship to post.)
- Secure with a 1.6" staple, so it will not twist.
- Thread conductor through insulator.
- Predrill hole in post.
- Screw insulator into post. (Refer to photo above to see how insulator should be in relationship to post.)

The protective covering on the pigtail is very thin or cracked at the bends. The fence was arcing on one so far. I looked at the others, and it will not be long, with wind and rain, before they start arcing as well. Very sturdy, but that does not do any good if the insulation does not work. Installed 50 of these, and returning them is not really an option at this point since they are all installed and stapled in.

These pigtail offsets are heavier gauge and have a more extensive protective coating than similar products I have purchased. They are very effective in keeping our stud mustang from damaging fences and gates.
