Shepherd’s Choice™ Management Tip
In areas with excess moisture and humidity, add an anti-caking agent to the trace mineral salt to prevent the mixture from clumping. As an alternative, reduce the amount of salt offered to a weekly supply, or less.Several anti-caking agents are specific for salt. They are calcium aluminum silicate, calcium silicate, calcium stearate, magnesium stearate or magnesium silicate. The inclusion rate should start at 1% of the salt mixture and can go up to 2%. Diatomaceous earth can also be used at a 2% inclusion rate.

A very economical and effective mineral supplement that has worked well for us and is easy to mix with 50 pound bags of salt.
Rob D from South Dakota
Great product!!! Price increases always get passed onto us producers and hurt... yet as producers what we produce seems to never go up with price increases.
Peter T from Oregon
This product works great for sheep.

A great product which I have been using for over 25 years - But the price is way inflated. Premier has added almost $20.00 per bag to cover the "free" freight option. It would be much more economical to just make this a fob Iowa item and let us pay our own freight.
